Mr. Farris,
As a member of the “B.I.” generation, I too cut my teeth on in-home sales for wedding china and later for insurance. While there were much better salespeople than I, the ability to attentively listen to the customer stories served me well in the remainder of my careers in HR management, sheltered-workshop management and elected public service.
